Every registrant needs to obtain a .aero ID in order to be able to register .aero domains. Your .aero ID is the unique validity process, which screens potential domain registrants thus ensuring the integrity and the exclusivity of the .aero domain.
You may reserve your .aero domain before obtaining your .aero ID. However, your name will be in a pending status until you obtain your .aero ID.
